Sciatic nerve
The Sciatic nerve is the longest single nerve in the body largely responsible for connecting the spinal cord to the hips, legs, and feet. The Sciatic nerve runs from the lower spine through the buttock, hips, legs and feet. The beginning of the sciatic nerve is embedded within the base of the spine - if injury or damage occurs within the lower back / lumbar spine affecting the sciatic nerve the pain is referred to Sciatica.

SciaticaSciatica refers to any pain related to the Sciatic nerve, this can be caused by a herniated disk, a bone spur, a pinched nerve, or narrowing of the spine applying pressure to the Sciatic nerve. Sciatica can range from a dull ache to an intense shooting pain from the lower back throughout the hips and down the legs. Due to Sciatica generally affecting the thicker areas of the body like the buttock treatments like ice and massage may not be effective which is why ultrasound may be the most effective treatment for Sciatica.

I got my Sonic Relief about 6 months ago to help my Sciatica, driving a truck all day really inflames the pain in my hips and legs that ice just couldn't reach and with my busy schedule massage or physiotherapy wasn't an option. Ultrasound has been so helpful in providing relief and I started seeing noticeable results after the first use. Regaining feeling in my legs and the pain is gone. I can use it on the road and I always keep it handy. I can't recommend Sonic Relief enough if you suffer from Sciatica, the treatments have given me my regular life back so I can get back to work without the constant pain.
